TBOTDP Part Seven

Lots of good progress so far the last few days 

Line highlighting has been done for the armour and tomorrow will work on the faces lowering the tone after apply a violet wash to the bugmans glow paint I applied first

Making great and steady progress with the first 20 guys of my 500 goal, brown wash went over the armour tonight after finishing that off, next was bugmans glow for the skin, tomorrow the druchi violet wash for the skin and then a lot of highlighting #hobby500 #hobbyresolution2018 #genestealercult #thebrotherhoodofthedivineprotector

Cetania 19th Armoured Regiment update 1

So thought I would drop a little update 

The tanks have been accepted by a great commission painter in my local area 

Going for this colour scheme 

If it looks familiar it's because it's from table top tactics and the Colonels guard scheme 

Got an easy to paint run down from the tabletop tactics forum so will push a head with in 2018  

TBOTDP Part Five

So the shade was dropped and turned out really well, even managed not to spill any on our brand new floor, as we have just moved apartment and done a 4 month renovation 

And now started on the Kantor blue of the piping around the workers suit and the lense of the little light that some of them have on their shoulders 

Hoping to get all this done and painted on the first 20 for tomorrow after going to the hardware stop for some more bits for the apartment and the dreaded supermarket

TBOTDP Part Four

Good progress again today with the black and metal parts of all the guns done along with cleaning up all the over paint on some of the other colours 

All while cooking Christmas dinner and relaxing with a bad back 

Going to be dropping some serious shade on these guys tomorrow, going over all the parts I've painted so far with Nuln Oil, while trying not to spill any

So making good progress with the first batch of  neophytes with the Incubai Darkness down on the material parts of their uniforms and a couple genestealer test models started

The Brotherhood of the Divine Protector - Part Two

So back home and enjoying it after an extended period of time at work, and now on to some much needed hobby relaxation therapy
Starting off with painting some bog standard neophyte hybrids for The Brotherhood of the Divine Protector cult army im working on for an upcoming campaign

So this has completely fallen apart with a total lack of hobby in the last few months apart from buying 1 librarian for my Astral Sons space marine chapter.
Works been crazy with my job as an engineer on a ship being at risk with the company deciding to rent the ship to another company and the renting company deciding that the people who have worked there for more than three years each, are too expensive to hire so better get some people who will work for a lot less and care a whole lot less about what was a truly cool ship to work on.
But I was lucky enough to jump quickly across to another one, similar in size but the new one is so much more complex and mentally taxing.

But with Christmas and New year at home this year, In our new apartment - another drain on the hobby budget, should be able to get lots of work done as my planning for 2018 is fully painted collection, which is looking tough already as I have over 300 models now in the Genestealer cults force and constantly coming up with new 30k list ideas for Zone Mortalis armies.
Will see what happens but the next post isnt too far off
