Really like how this model went together

Few more bits and then some dead stuff on the base and on to something bigger still

Moved onto a slightly larger model now 

Was a bit of a pain to put together but ended up ok, it's really good you get both little pieces so you can make each of the main gun

I've decided that now I have one good one I can batch out the other 5 in one go, doing all the same faces at the same time

Really love how there containers have come out, nice bit of shade and a bit of runefang steel to give the scrapes a bit of colour to them and that's one wholey done and another on the way
So about 4 1/2 to go

And now the big guns come out

Lovely model to put together if you don't include the little pistons on the legs that are a pain if you don't read through the instruction book first or watch the Warhammer tv video
Few little bits to finish and then will under coat both the dreadnought and repulsor later tomorrow, when the weathers more drier

Astral Sons pt3

So from a single guy test model to now jumping right in with the biggest new model

Went with not glueing to fully together so I can spray the main part of it white and the under side anti grav plates black to give them more of a metallic look


Gone with the lascannons and lastalon load out as it's going to be my main source of anti tank weapon at the moment as I'm light on landraiders

Astral Sons pt1- Birth of a primaris chapter

Managed to get hold of the good half of the dark imperium box set and thought it's time for a change from painting white scars
So here is the birth of the Astral Sons
Long way to go but I'm ready for the journey
I've learnt a lot painting wise of the last year and hope to put it to some good use

Scenery Workshop Part 5

Still smashing on with the containers
The colours were cleaned up, nuln oil washed the metallic parts and then painted gold and washed with sepia wash the skulls

Should be starting the weathering with agrax earthshade tomororw evening

Containers are coming along nicely with the leadbelcher trim done
Will put a wash on them tomorrow as well as some gold for the skulls

Finished all 6 of the containers with plans to spray them tonight before the football is on


Not sure what I'm going to do with the other stuff you get with them

Thinking about making a barricade with them

This evening it's the armoured containers set

Watching table tops tactics one of the best youtubes channels I believe and making a good start on the GW plastic containers set, wonder how many of these they have actually sold
